Title: Harry Potter: Made for Each Other
Summary: During the Battle for Hogwarts, Lucius Malfoy discovers that he has found his veela soulmate. When no one comes for him, he knows he will die in Azkaban without them, but then he is saved by the most unlikely of people: Harry Potter. The two of them must learn about each other and see behind the masks of what the wizarding world sees, while also adjusting to being veela. In the meantime, Molly and Ginny Weasley are struggling to come to terms with the fact that Harry will not be a Weasley, even going so far as to kidnap him. After dealing with the Weasley women, Harry learns that his life will never be normal and also what it means to have a family.
Opinion: A guilty pleasure fanfiction, this story is actually well handled. There is a lot of explicit sexual contact from three separate couples, as well as a lot of sweet moments as well. The relationship between Harry and Lucius is slightly underdeveloped at the beginning, but expands as the fanfiction evolves. Their explanation is that as soulmates, Harry and Lucius would have less fights and fit together easier. Pregnant Harry was amusing, but perhaps not all accurate as some of the symptoms of pregnancy seemed to be overblown. Overall the story was less about action and drama and more about life after the war itself.
Length: 390.801 words
Pairings: Lucius Malfoy/Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy/Twins, Severus Snape/Remus Lupin/Sirius Black
Warnings: explicit gay sex, veela, mpreg
Summary: When Harry de-ages himself to 6 or 7 years old after the defeat of Voldemort in his fourth year, Severus Snape is the one who takes him. Since Harry has no memories of his previous life, Snape and Harry have a chance to reconnect and start over. They must learn to live with each other and finding a family along the way in the most unusual of people; a woman they saved in Greece, a de-aged Albus, and a man named Lucky who has a complicated past all of his own.
Opinion: The story had some decent elements regarding parenting and what kind of parent that Severus Snape would be without all of the complications in the way, however many of the relationship went very quickly with little prelude or build up. The complications in their lives seemed to be overcome very easily and with simple solutions. Even the idea of Snape adopting Harry seemed to go very quickly with little interference on anyone’s part. The only complication that seemed to stay with them was Echo’s problems with her ex-husband, but even those were overlooked at times.
Length: 395.201 words
Pairings: Draco Malfoy/Hermione Granger, Severus Snape/OC, Lucius Malfoy/OC
Warnings: Alternate universe, mild mention of child abuse
Summary: Several years after Voldemort wins the war, the Ministry is banished to America. When Harry is requested to be sent back to Britain with a magical object, he knows that he’s signing up for his death. What he doesn’t realize is that the Dark Reign is going to keep him alive and torture him. Along the way, he discovers that not all is what is seems with the Heir, Draco, and they find love in their torture, and eventually escape. They must then deal with the aftermaths of their torture while trying to help the Resistance in their movement. Their relationship and power ends up being what defeats Voldemort in the end.
Opinion: This fanfiction was compelling during the torture and healing afterwards, but during the attempt to take back over the wizarding world, the story became stagnant. The character growth in Harry was astounding, but he almost seemed too dependent during the aftermath. The relationship between Harry and Molly was nice, but seemed stilted. The sexual aspects of the story were not necessary and were almost hard to read. For so many words, the story could have been told in much less time.
Length: 395.957 words
Pairings: Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger
Warnings: Torture, rape
Summary: When Harry and the trio go back to school after the fall of Voldemort, he decides to turn a new leaf and become friends with Draco Malfoy. This leads to Harry learning that he is homosexual and has a serious crush on Lucius Malfoy. In the background, Molly Weasley is discovered to be suffering from a major mental illness that she has been stifling with an illegal, highly dangerous potion. It causes her to attack her family, leading to some very difficult situations. When Harry learns that Lucius loves him as well, they must learn what it means to be a family, very quickly. All the while, all of the Gryffindors are discovering what its like to find their Slytherin.
Opinion: This fanfiction seems to be a compilation of every crack relationship with little to no build up. The writing is inconsistent and often contradicts itself in the middle of a paragraph. The most memorable was that a character withdrew his Ebony wand, and then stated that it was Cherry. There were a lot of name mixups in crucial points that made it hard to follow what was going on. The storyline with Molly was actually well developed, but it needed a little more lead-up as well. The over exaggeration of how pregnancy hormones work as well was very off-putting and honestly seemed a little demeaning. The storyline just seemed to move too fast to make any sense; everyone was getting married and having children far too quickly.
Length: 429.340 words
Pairings: Lucius Malfoy/Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy/Bill Weasley, Hermione Granger/Fred Weasley, Neville Longbottom/Ron Weasley, Remus Lupin/Severus Snape
Warnings: smutty, male pregnancy
Summary: When Ginny Potter is brutally murdered while in bed with her lover, Draco Malfoy, a now middle aged Harry must go back in the public eye to find out who her murderer was. When it turns out that Malfoy is completely innocent, Harry himself is put up for the murder charge. It is up to him, Severus Snape, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and the Weasleys to discover how deep the murder goes and navigate the legal system all the while. During a Ministry attack and from a surprisingly reliable spy, it comes to light that the person behind the attacks is none other than the head of the MLE, now they must find enough proof to convict her and her accomplices. While all this is going on, Harry must learn what it means to be in a loving relationship after the dissolution of his own relationship with Ginny.
Opinion: The legal aspects of this story was very well handled and showed the many flaws that the British Wizarding World had to face. There was very good dialogue about creature rights and magical theory throughout the story as well. The relationship between Harry, Severus, and Kingsley I wish had a little more build up on the latter twos’ parts, but the relationship was well taken care of. The one downside of this story was that there were a lot of subplots that muddled the storyline and occasionally made it difficult to follow along. It did have a good balance of high and slow paced action, and it was fascinating to watch the author’s perspective on what Harry’s relationship with his children would be like.
Length: 525.304 words
Pairings: Harry Potter/Severus Snape/Kingsley Shacklebolt, Draco Malfoy/Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger, Lucius Malfoy/OC
Warnings: Mild Gore, Age-Gap relationships
Summary: When Lucius Malfoy and Severus Snape return to Britain ten years after the war, after waiting for the public fervor to die down, they found out that the young witch that they grew to like has become reclusive and broken. This leads them to try and win her over and help her regain her confidence after they discover that it was her two best friends who caused her to be in this state. When Ginny Potter and her four children get thrown into the mix of people hurt by Harry and Ron, the Order finds themselves trying to track down the cause of their hatred; a dark curse from the Lestrange Vault. All the while, the threesome has to realize that being a family doesn’t necessary mean just two people.
Opinion: This fanfiction started off well, with detailed information about the characters and why the situation seemed so bleak when the two wizards arrived. However, as the story progressed, there were a lot of explanations that seemed to be skipped or basic relationship building needs that were skipped. The fact that Hermione was broken, yet sexually deviant seemed to be a huge contradiction. The relationship between Snape/Hermione and Lucius/Ginny were too quick and lacked basic emotions. The best relationship build was between Hermione/Lucius in the end. The writing was a little stilted and it often was difficult to determine exactly where the characters were or how they were feeling. Ginny’s deception was not very obvious either and threw me out of the story as it didn’t seem to fit properly.
Length: 159.959 words
Pairings: Severus Snape/Hermione Granger/Lucius Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy/Ginny Weasley, Ginny/Weasley/Harry Potter, Harry Potter/Ron Weasley
Warnings: Smutty, Dark Harry and Ron
Summary: After Harry is inadvertently turned into a were-leopard without permission from
the pride alpha, Lucius Malfoy, he is thrust into a world that he never knew existed. When Lucius claims him as his Chosen, Harry must learn the ways of the pride and what it means to love and what his place is. All throughout this time, the creature who turned Harry in the first place is determined to ruin Lucius’s and Harry’s life, as Harry was never meant to live. Draco, who is resistant to the change, must also find his place in the pride, while holding onto what is most dear to him, his guardians.
Opinion: This fanfiction was actually very detailed and the relationships well-developed. Nothing was ever taken for granted and it was easy to tell Harry’s confusion and struggles with the new pride life. The introduction of other weres was an interesting one; that at times made little to no sense. However, the concept of pride and how it would be different from pack was handled well. The sex scenes, while numerous, were fairly bland and not well described. It took me a while during some of them to realize what body parts were where and who was with whom. A good read, but only if you are into polyamory and orgies.

Pairings: Lucius Malfoy/Harry Potter, Lucius Malfoy/Fred Weasley, Severus Snape/OC, Draco Malfoy/OC
Warnings: Explicit, very sexual, strong mpreg
Part 2 of 3 part series
Summary: After Harry and Draco find out that they are not only soul mates and Ukatae, but are also Emperors of the Ukatae realm, they must handle taking over the wizarding and the Ukatae realm with as little dissent as possible. They discover that one of their close friends is a goddess and seems content with causing as much romantic chaos, babies, and Ukatae as possible. When virtually everyone close to Harry and Draco have been changed to Ukatae, they decide that it is time to take over the Ukatae realm and stop the violence there. It is during this time that the struggle between master and slave comes to life with unusual results.
Opinion: While the first fanfiction in this series was horribly laid out, this one allowed the readers to immerse themselves into the story. Having the background from the first fanfiction helped with the reading of the second immensely. The character relationships were developed slowly and carefully instead of suddenly and the story progressed at a nice speed. Though the story is long, there are enough mini-climaxes to make the story interesting and it culminates in the final battle very well. The transition in the third story left it so you want to read on further to see what happens to certain characters, but wraps up the rest of the storyline nicely. The reader could stop at this story if they wanted to. That being said, a lot of the interactions seemed out of character even in the current storyline.
Length: 661.990 words
Pairings: Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter, Severus Snape/Hermione Granger, Lucius Malfoy/Sirius Black, Ginny Weasley/Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson/Charlie Weasley, Tom Riddle/Luna Lovegood, Dudley Dursley/Neville Longbottom, OC/OC
Warnings: Creature Fic, Dark Harry/Hermione, very gory, ritualistic
Part 1 of 3 part series
Summary: Snape and Draco find Harry almost at death’s door after a beating from the Dursleys, and he finds himself in a unique situation. Draco and him have a soul mate bond that is turning them into an endangered magical creature. After Harry and Draco (who have realized that they liked each other long before the introduction of the soul mate bond) have gone through their inheritance, they discover that they are magical beings called Ukatae and have four bodyguards following them around to help protect them in their new world. During this entire process, they discover that Dumbledore created Tom Riddle and was the direct cause of the Potters’ deaths, causing an unlikely alliance between the Dark and the Light.
Opinion: The reader is dumped into the middle of the story without any prelude. The storyline progresses similarly to what I would expect from several chapters in, right from the very beginning. It makes the story very hard to get into and follow. While some of the main questions are answered throughout, we do miss the character development quite a bit. Even when the Ukatae characters are introduced, they are hard to relate to. The thing that made the story harder to read is the fact that most events/emotions are immediately understood by everyone without any confusion, even the changing to the Ukatae was just taken as a given. Some of the relationships were well-developed, but there didn’t seem to be any lead-up.
Length: 288.592 words

Part 1 of 2-part series
Summary: After Harry gets a letter from the Dursleys during his sixth year at Hogwarts, he is thrown into an interesting turn of events. After undergoing a Muggle procedure, Harry has lost all ability to access his Light magic, leaving behind only his Dark powers. During the process of trying to regain usage of his magic and learn Occlumency, Severus Snape learns how much Harry is not like his father, growing closer to him each day. When Voldemort finds out about Harry’s predicament, he takes advantage, rendering Harry without protection from the wards, blind, and emotionally damaged. When Severus decides to adopt Harry, it creates a massive paradigm shift, for all of them, including Draco Malfoy. The rest of the year is all three of them learning what it means to be a family, both ups and downs.
Opinion: While most Severus and Harry familial relationship fanfictions tend to have Snape realize how terrible Harry’s home life is like before gaining a relationship, this fanfiction focused more on how events could create a shift. They don’t just fall into a Father/Son relationship without mistrust and other issues, which is definitely nice to have. All three of the major characters do not act out-of-character, but instead relate to different catalysts within their original personalities. There was never a dull moment in the story, but not overwhelmingly so. The balance of action, frustration, happiness, and bonding was very well handled. There were a few times that the action seemed unnecessary, but not very often. Overall, an easy read with lots of character development.
Pairings/Characters: Severus Snape, Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy
Warnings: Torture in several points throughout the story. Self-Harm near the end.
